Sports Ambassadors

In Year Six, children are given the opportunity to become a Sports Ambassador, and have a real say in PE and Sport across school. Interested children are asked to complete an application at the beginning of the year.

Some of the roles and responsibilities of a Sports Ambassador are:

• Attend meetings with Mr. Noble to help make decisions about PE and Sport across school.
• Monitor the PE equipment and place orders for replacement resources, working with a budget.
• Attend several after school clubs and represent school in a variety of teams.
• Attend after school clubs for younger children to assist the teacher with coaching and organisation.
• Promote sport in school and be a positive role model.
• Write reports on events to be included in our annual Sports Review magazine.
• Assist Mr. Noble with the preparation and organisation of the end of year Sports Awards evening.
